David has been playing the game since he was 4 years of age, graduating HS from Leo Catholic on the city’s Southside.
He attended college at Kishwaukee Community College in northern Illinois as a 1B, P, OF and led the team in most offensive categories in his two year stint. For David’s Junior & Senior year he attended Lindenwood University, a NAIA school, where he was a captain and boasted a .389 BA, 11HR, 20 Doubles, 65Rbi & 16SB his Junior year giving him the honor of All-Conference, All-Region and earned him a spot on Baseball America’s Top-100 Collegiate Baseball Players list.
Arnold’s pro career started in the Frontier Independent League for three seasons after being a spring training invitee in Pirates organization. David started coaching in 2012 with the Bull/Sox academy in Lisle, IL, where he met Justin Stone.
He has a 7 year old son Jakob.
