Javier is a native of Odessa, Fl, where he enjoyed a stellar prep career that saw him ranked in the top 30 players in the state of Florida in his class by Perfect Game USA. Javier finished his senior year with a 1.30 ERA with 116 strikeouts over 77 innings.
Javier was drafted by the White Sox out of high school, but opted to accept a scholarship to Coastal Carolina University. He was then drafted again out of college by the Kansas City Royals.
Javier played a total of 8 professional seasons amassing nearly 300 innings on the mound over his career.
Reynoso comes from a baseball family. His father played in the big leagues for the Angels and Dodgers and he has had 3 brothers drafted and played pro ball as well. He brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to his lessons along with a passion for teaching the next generation of players.
