Joe Mathey is a North Riverside native who played baseball at Riverside Brookfield High School. Through out his career he was influenced by coaches who played at the major league level, and learned hitting philosophy from D2 All American Wayne Wente of Missouri Southern.

Joe spent his career behind the plate as a catcher, infielder and pitcher while in high school. Joe realized his passion for coaching, at the youth level, and for helping the youth in general as he looks to pursue his education to become a teacher in the coming future.

Joe utilizes our in depth stretching regimen, and with his extensive experience behind the plate to help our catchers become strong, confident and fundamentally sound.
