Christian Poulsen will be spending the 2022 season with the Baltimore Orioles organization as a hitting development coach.

Christian Poulsen is from Schaumburg, Illinois. He played all 4 years of high school baseball at Schaumburg high. His college playing career started at Harper college where he pitched and played shortstop. After two years, Poulsen transferred to Maryville College where he finished his playing career. Poulsen joined the Elite Staff in 2018 as a coach for one of the 15U teams. In 2019, Poulsen started working for Justin Stone as a biomechanical hitting intern. Then in 2020 he was hired by the Toronto Blue Jays as a player development intern. Poulsen is a well rounded coach that has the ability to teach all facets of the game.
