Our Elite travel program is unlike any other. We have the ability to combine maximum exposure opportunities with an unmatched emphasis on player development. We are looking for players with college aspirations that can play baseball on a national level and are ready receive the highest quality training available. We are different from other travel programs as we pride ourselves with professional instruction and TEACHING the game the right way. We want all of our athletes to be “college ready” when they step on a campus in four years. With my contacts as a former Division 1 coach, and working with a professional baseball team we will garner maximum exposure and my background will help guide you through that process.
Program Highlights
Fall Program –
Our fall program focuses on position specific training, team defense and game play under a competitive atmosphere. Our high school groups get maximum exposure opportunities due to our partnership with other top travel team organizations around the area.
Showcase opportunities and guidance –
Our players, already at the 15U level have to opportunity, to showcase their skills in front of top scouts and universities. Players already attended the USA Baseball National Trials Identification Series in Cary, North Carolina. 12 of our players were invited to the prestigious (and free) Sandlott Baseball Silver and Black Games. To add, Elite is putting together a “College Workout Day” in January where players will get to work with some of the top Division 1 coaches in the country. As a part of Elite, parents get showcase guidance. We can let players know which showcases are a valuable investment of time and money and which ones to bypass.
Off Season Training –
November through February off season training focuses on individual fundamentals and team strategy. All players hit weekly with Justin, as well as weekly team defense practices.
Prospect Videos –
All players have their own page on elitebaseballtraining.com, which includes player biographical information, player highlights and a professionally made prospect video. Prospect services sometimes charge $2500 for this service – as service we provide for FREE.
Video Analysis –
Just like Justin has done with Major League players, to aid pitching and hitting fundamentals, players get periodic video analysis sessions with voice-over instruction archived on elitebaseballtraining.com. This way players and parents can have a record of progress and a personal file of instruction, accessed anytime, with a push of a button!
Written Player Evaluations –
Communication is a key part of development. With the development of the player being the focus of our program, we have individual meetings with parents and players to discuss Elite’s written evaluations. Meetings occur once in the middle of winter training and also at the half way point of the summer season. This assures that parents, players and our staff are all on the same page when it comes to the progress of development with the player.
Future Planning Meeting –
We will meet individually in the winter as I walk families through the recruiting process. What you need to be doing, target schools based on my evaluation and your ability, etc.
We will be one of the few travel teams coached by a former Division I college coach
Due to our relationship with guys at this level I talk to Division I college coaches every day. That will help get you started on building college relationships.
Instruction –
We will also be one of the few travel teams in the country, that gets instruction from someone who has worked with Major League Players as well as former Major League Players themselves.
Schedule –
Our schedule will challenge our players with the top competition. We will play up in many 16U tournaments to further the development process and have more opportunities for exposure. Highlights include the USA Baseball National Championships (where players in the tournament get chosen for the USA Baseball 40 man roster), Perfect Game BCS Nationals in Florida and the CABA World Series at Notre Dame.
