Prep your youth ball player for his spring season under the guidance of a former MLB Org Coach! Step into the batters box with confidence this spring through a 10-week hitting program! Our Youth Hitting Development Program is designed to make learning how to hit both fun and effective for young athletes. Through this 10-session program, players will learn the essential skills that build a great hitter – proper stance, swing mechanics, balance, timing, and approach. Touch every skill on the diamond with Coach Poulsen! Join us for our All-Skills Youth Baseball Camp, designed to help young athletes build a strong foundation in the core fundamentals of the game. Over the course of 10 action-packed sessions, players will receive detailed instruction in hitting, fielding, and throwing, with an emphasis on proper mechanics, consistency, and confidence.

Winter Pitching Club with Christian Poulsen & Hayden Lynch
A fast paced group pitching program at the Bolt!
Give your young pitcher the chance to train with the best. This 8-week youth pitching class is led by Christian Poulsen (Head of Player Development) and Hayden Lynch (Director of Pitching) and is designed to build strong fundamentals, arm care habits, and confidence on the mound.
Athletes will work hands-on with our staff to improve mechanics, command, and overall pitching IQ in a structured, supportive environment.

Are you looking to dramatically increase your power at the plate? Our comprehensive 6-week Bat Speed Hitting Class is designed to equip you with the knowledge and techniques used by top athletes to maximize their swing velocity. Each session will include pre hit mobility work, tee and flip drills, machine work, and weighted bat training all designed to increase your bat speed.

Catching Program with Benji Ries
Join current college coach and Buffalo Grove native, Benji Ries, for a winter break catching series!
Benji Ries is an EBT alum, former D1 player, and current coach at the University of Central Missouri. He will lead this 4 week catching course this winter at EBT Mundelein.
The class will cover every essential skill – receiving, blocking, throwing, tag plays, bunt plays, mobility. Youth and high school catchers will be challenged, developed, and most importantly, will compete in every session!

Middle Infield Class with Christian Poulsen
Refine your infield skills through this 6-week detailed program with Christian Poulsen!
Master the art of middle infield defense and elevate your game!
This class is designed for High School players looking to refine their footwork, glove skills, throwing accuracy, and game IQ.
Former Baltimore Orioles coach Christian Poulsen will lead athletes through a professional style infield workout including active warm up, machine and fungo ground balls, and finishing with competition based work.
Participants will leave this class a more confident infielder.

Pitching Velocity and Bat Speed Training At the Bolt with Christian Poulsen
This softball camp, led by hitting coach Christian Poulsen and pitching coach Lindsey Prezell Shifley, delivers an integrated approach to player development. Athletes will focus on the connection between hitting and pitching through velocity training, emphasizing stride-side fluidity and efficient body sequencing. By training the shared mechanics behind bat speed and pitching velocity, players will build greater power, control, and overall performance in a fast-paced, high-impact session.

Hitters vs Pitchers at The Bolt with Christian Poulsen
This one-of-a-kind softball class combines elite hitting and pitching instruction in a competitive, game-like environment. Led by Brett Willhelm and Christian Poulsen, hitters will rotate through focused stations to develop explosive bat speed and precise barrel accuracy. Pitchers will work with Lindsey Prezell Shifley to build power, command, and a deceptive arsenal to consistently get hitters out. What sets this class apart is the integration of live at-bats, where hitters and pitchers compete in real game situations—applying their training while sharpening their edge. Designed to build confidence and elevate performance, this class develops complete, game-ready softball players.
